The Passover Holiday is rapidly approaching so I need to take a little break from writing until things settle down. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to writing in about a week. So here’s what you can expect when I get back… More about the embouchure. Well this week keeps getting busier and busier. I’ll have the video I promised soon, but in the meantime I have exciting news. On Monday March 8th I’m going to be meeting Jean-François Charles in Cambridge. He’s a clarinetist/composer and live-electronics designer teaching at Harvard. I found out about his work while searching for new and [...] I’ve found a few youtube videos of Eric Dolphy’s playing. Even if you’ve seen one before they’re worth watching again. Especially interesting are the interviews with the Dolphys. That’s some rare footage. Enjoy.
